When the rainy season starts and the humidity spikes, the mosquitoes come out. And they come with various diseases, including dengue. Dengue
fever is a mosquito-borne tropical disease caused by the dengue virus and is
spread by several species of female mosquitoes of the Aedes type, principally
A. aegypti. This mosquito usually bites in morning and evening. There are five
types of Dengue Virus (DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, DENV-4 and DENV-5). If someone
is previously attacked by DENV-2 then he/she can aquire other serotype of the
virus. So yes, we can get attacked by this virus multiple times in our lives.
This disease can be life threatening in people with chronic diseases like
diabetes and asthma.

acetaminophen (Paracetamol) and avoid medicines with aspirin (Disprin), which
could worsen bleeding.
- Use Paracetamol to reduce fever
and pain
- Drink Plenty of fluids
- Take Rest
- Alternative Treatments
- Papaya Leaf Extracts/Juice
A very effective remedy is to drink papaya leaf
juice or just its extract. Papaya leaves are known to be the natural cure for
dengue fever in Asian countries. The leaves have a combination of nutrients and
organic compounds which help in increasing your platelet count. The leaves also
have a high level of vitamin C which stimulate the immune system and the
antioxidants help in reducing the stress and remove toxins from the body. You
can prepare the recipe by crushing the leaves and stain the juice from the
crushed leaves.
