Getting Rid of Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)

An infection in any part of our urinary system such as our kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra is called Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). These infections involve lower urinary tract, the bladder and the urethra. However, if left untreated, serious consequences can occur like it can spread to your kidneys and becomes fatal.

Causes:

  • Poor Personal Hygiene
  • Diabetes
  • Difficulty emptying the bladder completely
  • Kidney Stones
  • Menopause
  • Frequent use of antibiotics, which can disrupt the natural flora of the bowel and urinary tract
  • Unprotected sexual intercourse
Symptoms:
  • Muscle aches and abdominal pains
  • Pain or a burning sensation when urinating
  • Cloudy, bloody, or strong smelly urine
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Frequent urge to urinate
Prevention, Treatment and Home Remedies:
  • Drink lots of water 
  • Urinate frequently
  • Avoid Caffeine (Tea, Coffee etc) and Alcohol as they can irritate the bladder
  • Keep your genital area clean
  • Stop using any perfumed products in the genital area.
  • UTIs are usually caused by bacteria, they are most commonly treated with antibiotics or antimicrobials.
  • Citralka Syrup is commonly used to treat UTI
  • Drink cranberry juice
  • Use Natural Probiotics such as yougurt

  4. I tried cranberry juice remedy but it is good for preventing UTI. To cure it uti supplements is very good supplement. I tried and gives me effective results.
